Sun Path Javelin Odyssey J4.5K – Custom Skydiving Container System
The Javelin Odyssey J4.5K is a mid-size harness and container built for sport jumpers flying main canopies around 150 to 170 sq ft and reserves from 143 to 160 sq ft. Made by Sun Path Products, the Odyssey line is known for comfort, durability, and a clean fit that stays locked to your body during freefly, angle flying, and canopy piloting.

Fit, Comfort, and Safety
The J4.5K uses cut-in laterals that contour around your lower back so the container sits close and stable in any orientation. The spacer foam backpad and split leg straps distribute weight evenly, while D-style leg pads stay in place during aggressive maneuvers. For extra comfort, upgrade to the SPYN PAD System with gel and memory foam panels.

Standard safety features include stainless steel hardware, Type 7 harness construction, a deep reserve handle pocket, and anti-twist main risers with plastic tube inserts. The system is AAD ready and Skyhook RSL compatible. Long riser covers protect main and reserve risers, and Oetiker clamps secure release and reserve housings without hand tacks.

Every Odyssey is certified under FAA TSO Category C 23(d) and drop tested to over 300 lbs. The kill line pilot chute, Phat Daddy cutaway handle, and easy-grip toggles are standard, giving you reliable deployment and control.

Customization and Options
The J4.5K is built to your measurements and canopy sizes. Choose from hundreds of color combinations and fabrics like 1000D Cordura for durability or ParaPack for a lighter, slicker pack job. Add pin stripes, A or V stripes, and custom logos to make it yours.

Premium upgrades include the Skyhook RSL, Stabilized Lateral System, Sun Path Backpad, articulated harness, and extended chest strap. The base model comes with a spacer foam backpad, RSL, cut-in laterals, and your choice of handles.

Sun Path offers stock rigs with 4-6 week lead times in Red, Royal Blue, and Charcoal. Custom orders typically run 12-15 weeks.
